Joining Forces recently released an article calling for Twin Falls Citizens to get involved in passing the torch of caring for and honoring the Twin Falls City Vietnam Memorial located in the downtown Twin Falls City Park.
This memorial was dedicated on May 30, 1967, to honor the lives of men who gave their lives in Vietnam. You can learn more about the history of this memorial by visiting the Joining Forces website.
Byrd Golay is a surviving member of the Vietnam Memorial committee and is asking for help to maintain and to continue to honor the memory of those who lost their lives during the Vietnam War. Byrd is aging and is looking for a group or an individual to pass the torch of responsibility of continuing the upkeep and of the memorial that stands to commemorate their sacrifices.
